Katie Male is a Los Angeles-based (but Phoenix-raised) writer, comedian, and actor. She won the title of “Parent Approved” her senior year of high school and never really got over it.
Katie began performing in the 6th grade with her local community youth theater and never looked back. Since her “start” in 2009, she has gained extensive experience with sketch comedy, stand-up, theatre, improv, and screenwriting. She also received a bachelor’s in Communication and a minor in Spanish Language from Arizona State University’s honors college. Katie loves watching anything funny and is developing a few half-hour television pilots with her writing partner.
Currently, you can find her doing stand-up around the LA area. When not performing, Katie is typically writing, reading, and convincing her parents her chosen career path is a good idea.
